VENICE: RED CARPETS & PINK BUBBLES

Prosecco Doc Rosé PONTE1948 signs also the 80th edition of the Venice International Film Festival.

The eagerly awaited appointment with the Venice International Film Festival is back and this year, in its eightieth edition, as never before it is preparing to reveal so many unmissable films and world-famous super stars.

Among the most awaited, Sofia Coppola, Woody Allen and Bradley Cooper as director and actor of a film with an Italian title: “Maestro”. Together with them, among the film stars present there will be Emma Stone, Jessica Chastain, Adam Driver and Micky Rourke. Representing Italy, Pierfrancesco Favino, Toni Servillo and Valerio Mastandrea.
An Italian cinema always of great quality that will see Stefano Sollima compete for the Golden Lion with “Adagio”, Edoardo De Angelis with “Comandante”, Sergio Castellitto as director of “Enea”. But not only that, also Saverio Costanzo in competition with “Finalmente l’alba”, Matteo Garrone with “Io Capitano” and Giorgio Diritti with “Lubo”.
The well-deserved Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement will be awarded to the 90-year-old director Liliana Cavani, in Venice for the out-of-competition film “L’ordine del tempo”.

The magnificent Sala degli Stucchi overlooking the sea of the Hotel Excelsior will be the scene of major events and special moments as will the Italian Pavilion where, in an ethereal atmosphere of cinema icons that become abstract shapes through a soft and dynamic morphing process made of concentric lines, the illustrious guests will be able to meet and find again the fresh bubbles of Prosecco Doc Rosé by Ponte1948 before diving into the river of applause that await them between stages and red carpets.

The Godmother 2023 is Caterina Murino, who will inaugurate the Festival during the opening event, Wednesday 30 August, on the stage of the Sala Grande of the Palazzo del Cinema on the Lido.
