@THE OSTERIA WITH LELE MARCASSA

Prosecco Doc Treviso and Prosecco Doc Rosé protagonists of the new tv format broadcast on Friday 28 July at 8.40 on Food Network, channel 33 of Digital Terrestrial, and on the Discovery + platform

After Studio Aperto, SKY Tg24 and La7, PONTE1948 is back on TV on the Discovery + platform within the brand new “Osterie” show which will see the well-known host Lele Marcassa discovering the oldest and most characteristic taverns in the Veneto region.

Over the course of six episodes, the region is explored far and wide, from the waters of the lagoon to the slopes of the Dolomites. The extreme variety Veneto is the real protagonist of this format. Not only landscape variety but also gastronomic variety; tasting moments of traditional and contemporary specialties alternate with special visits along the most interesting tourist itineraries in the area. Obviously the “key” of the journey are the taverns, custodians of the soul of the city or town, of the island, of the valley. In the taverns people find refreshment during a trip or after a day’s work, meet, talk, enjoy a good wine and have lunch with a genuine and honest dish.

In “Osterie” the gastronomic part is particularly accurate, with the presentation in each episode of a main recipe and other “side dishes”, wanting to convey to all of Italy not only the Venetian culinary tradition, but also the complex of age-old stories that the tavern dishes and the great wines that accompany them bring with them. To further enrich the journey, in each tavern Lele Marcassa meets an illustrious personality of the place, who has particularly distinguished himself within the community, entering its history by right.

In front of a glass of wine, seated in the tavern, take turns the cycling champions Silvio Martinello, Moreno Argentin and Alessandro Ballan, the theater and cinema actress Ottavia Piccolo (among other things the Italian voice of Princess Leia of Star Wars), the Paralympic ski champion Renè De Silvestro, the sculptor Raul Barattin, the pianist Alessandro Taverna and the cartoonist Lele Vianello. Through picturesque views and unmissable recipes, Lele Marcassa accompanies viewers through the magical Venetian scenarios, to be visited together or alone but certainly by stopping in an inn to savor all the flavors that only the Veneto is able to offer.

The appointment with PONTE1948 is for Friday 28 July at 8.40 which in two of the most representative taverns of the Lower Piave will cheer the tastings and the stories of the diners with two symbolic labels of the Cellar: Prosecco Doc Rosé Millesimato Brut, capable of seducing at the first sip, and Prosecco Doc Extra Dry Treviso, best seller all over the world.

Numerous reruns will then be broadcast throughout next autumn-winter. Stay tuned!
