CASA ITALIA PARIS 2024

July 26 – August 11

After more than a decade, the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games are returning to Europe. Casa Italia will be hosted in Pré Catelan, a Napoleon III-style pavilion nestled in the Bois de Boulogne park. It was in its halls that Pierre de Coubertin toasted the birth of the Modern Olympic Games in 1894. The theme chosen for Casa Italia is “Ensemble”, a concept that from Rio 2016 to today, expresses the importance of collaboration, community and sharing. “Ensemble” embodies not only the sporting spirit, but also the commitment to social and environmental sustainability: the project uses recyclable materials, reducing waste and continuing the sustainable approach begun with Tokyo 2020. Furthermore, Casa Italia becomes a stage for all Made in Italy, welcoming Italian excellence at 360° in one of the most important showcases in the world.

Prosecco DOC will be the Official Sparkling Wine of Casa Italia Paris 2024: the bubbles will open the Games with the inauguration dinner, where they will be served to guests and then remain next to the medal-winning athletes who will receive a Magnum of Prosecco DOC to officially celebrate their successes at Casa Italia.

PONTE1948 will be present with the Consorzio di Tutela della DOC Prosecco in the Lounge, in the Casa Italia Restaurant with a menu created by the starred chef Davide Oldani, and in the Bistrot set up in “Chalet Après Ski” style in homage to the next Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Italy, with two of its flagships: Prosecco DOC Extra Dry Treviso and Prosecco DOC Rosé Millesimato Brut, both award-winning around the world.

During the Paralympics, from August 28 to September 8, an additional space will be set up entirely dedicated to the next Winter Games, to tell how the country is preparing for this important event. Casa Italia 2024, in fact, will also give rise to the “passing of the baton” to Milan-Cortina 2026, of which the DOC Prosecco Consortium is the Official Sparkling Wine.
